Experience Matters
The founders of Quadponics collectively bring over 100 years of experience and a track record of success across diverse industries. Our common bond is our commitment to reimagining a better way to service those most in need.
Jacques van Buuren
Jacques is a pioneering AgTech and CEA innovator with more than 30 years of experience delivering large-scale, cost-efficient infrastructure and agricultural projects. Trained in property development and construction engineering, he has led the development of housing, schools, clinics, and community infrastructure serving low- and middle-income populations, combining rigorous feasibility analysis with scalable execution. As the driving force behind Eden Green, Jacques revolutionized controlled environment agriculture through award-winning greenhouse, automation, and lighting technologies that significantly reduce capex and opex while increasing yield and food quality—innovations recognized globally, including by TIME Magazine as one of the Top 200 Inventions in the World. His work focuses on creating modular, sustainable food production systems that expand access to fresh, locally grown food in underserved communities, directly aligning with Quadponics’ mission.

Our Vision
We envision a future where every community has reliable access to fresh, nutritious, locally grown food—regardless of geography, income, or infrastructure. A future where food systems strengthen health, dignity, and opportunity, and where communities are empowered to sustain themselves through resilient, scalable growing solutions. Quadponics exists to help make that future practical, affordable, and achievable.
Our Values
Nutrition First
We believe access to fresh, nutrient-dense food is foundational to human health and potential. Every decision we make prioritizes nutritional quality, not just yield or calories.
Community Empowerment
We design solutions that put control back in the hands of local communities. Success is measured not by installations, but by thriving, self-sustaining programs that serve real people.
Practical Innovation
Innovation must work in the real world. Our technology is engineered to be simple, reliable, and cost-effective—delivering consistent results without unnecessary complexity.
Partnership Over Transactions
We don’t sell systems and walk away. We partner from planning through harvest, sharing responsibility for outcomes and supporting long-term success.
Scalability With Integrity
Our solutions are built to scale without compromising quality, nutrition, or mission. Growth should amplify impact—not dilute it.
Accountability to Outcomes
We are outcome-focused and data-driven. Our commitment is to measurable results: healthier food, reliable harvests, and sustainable operations.
